Why are my clothes taking so long to dry?

If your clothes require multiple cycles to dry your clothes this is a clear sign that either your duct is clogged, your secondary lint trap requires cleaning or the secondary fan motor requires service. It is possible if maintenance has not been performed for years, that all three need to be addressed.

Why is there a leak/water stains in my ceiling?

If there is a water leak in your ceiling when you run your dryer its because your ducts are clogged with lint and the moisture is being caught in the lint that has collected in the dryer duct, creating condensation, causing the leak and damaging your ceiling.

Why is my dryer so hot?

This is another sign that your ducts are clogged, secondary fan motor needs service, secondary lint trap is full or all of the above. The dryer is working harder to exhaust the moisture from your clothes. This is a sign to stop using your dryer and call for service. An overheating dryer + lint can result in a dryer fires.

when I take a shower the moisture is not exhausting?

This is a sign that your bathroom fan motor and duct need some tender love and care. It’s better to get this serviced and cleaned sooner than later as it can lead to mould in the bathroom if ignored for too long.
