Sychem was founded in 1983 by Syed Hussain, who started the business from his garage with a vision to provide high-quality HVAC and water treatment solutions. The journey of Sychem is a classic immigrant success story, reflecting resilience, hard work, and dedication. From its humble beginnings, the company has evolved significantly over the years.
Initially focusing on the condo industry, Sychem expanded into manufacturing before specializing in heat pumps and fan coils for the past two decades. Under the leadership of Syed’s son, Talib Hussain, who has owned and operated the business for the last 17 years, Sychem has thrived in the heat pump industry. Talib's dedication and expertise have transformed Sychem into a leader in the field, servicing 60-70 buildings on contract annually and an additional 30-40 buildings as a secondary or tertiary vendor.
