ERV Duct Cleaning

What is an ERV?

  • Good question! ERV Stands for Energy Recovery Ventilator.

  • Only recently condominiums began integrating ERV systems in Condominiums.

  • ERVs draw clean, fresh air into your condo and remove stale air.

ERV Filters

  • Do you have allergies? ERV ventilation systems capture contaminants, pollutants, allergens, pollen, and more, helping to ensure that the air that enters and is kept within your condo is clean and healthy.

  • ERV’s have two filters that can be vacuumed, washed or replaced with brand new ones.

  • We recommend maintaining every six months.

  • As you can see here, there are ducts as well that will require maintenance. We recommend once every year cleaning.

  • Some ERV’s are integrated within your condo heating and air conditioning system.

  • They work the same as the ones above.

  • We suggest you maintain together with your heating and cooling system.

  • Air quality inside most condo’s is at least five times more contaminated than the air found outside. ERV’s improve the quality of our indoor air, creating a space for us to breathe easier.
